The concept

The Last Link is marketing website inspired by the spirit of the Million Dollar Homepage - one page, one shot at internet history. There is exactly one link on this page at all times. To replace it with yours, pay more than the current holder - at minimum $0.5 more, but you can pay higher to make it more expensive (and riskier) for someone to take your spot.
Every second your link is live, your name climbs the scoreboard. If nobody pays more then you, your link stays live indefinitely. If someone does, your link is simply replaced - your spot on the scoreboard remains, and your hold time is locked in.
Every payment is a flat fee for potentail link placement. We are not required to provide refunds. See our Terms of Service for full details.
How much do I pay?
At least $0.5 more than the current price - no upper limit. Bidding higher raises the barrier for whoever tries to outbid you.
What links can I submit?
The website is intended to be a unique advertizing and exposure platform, so any safe-for-work, publicly accessible URL - think personal portfolios, small businesses, startups, creative projects, blogs, YouTube channels, social profiles, or anything you want the internet to see. If you're proud of it and it's legal, it probably belongs here. We review every submission before it goes live. No illegal content, no phishing, no adult material. Rejected links will be handled on a case-by-case basis - according to our Terms of Service.
How long does review take?
Usually a few hours. We check your link manually to confirm it's safe and appropriate.
What if nobody outbids me?
Your link stays live indefinitely. No expiry, no timer - the page is yours as long as you hold it - according to our Terms of Service.
Is this gambling?
No. You always receive something tangible - your link goes live and your name is on the scoreboard for everyone to admire. You know the exact cost before paying. This is a paid placement service, not a wager.

To claim the spot, a user submits a payment exceeding the current holder's - upon review and approval, their link goes live. This is a paid placement service, not a competition, lottery, or gambling product of any kind.
2. No Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. By completing a payment you acknowledge that you are paying for the opportunity to have your link reviewed and potentially displayed, not a guaranteed outcome. If your link is rejected during review, we may at our sole discretion refund your account or contact you - but no refund is guaranteed.
3. Right to Discontinue
We reserve the right to shut down, suspend, modify, or discontinue this website or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. No compensation or refund will be owed to any user as a result of the site closing or becoming unavailable, whether temporarily or permanently.
4. No Guarantee of Uptime
We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the site. While we intend to remain live, The site may go offline at any time due to maintenance, technical issues, or our decision to discontinue the service.
5. Link Approval & Rejection
All submitted links are subject to manual review. We reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason, including but not limited to: illegal content, adult material, phishing, spam, or any content we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion. Rejection does not entitle the user to a refund.
6. Limitation of Liability
